Sevastyanov House - one of the most impressive, striking and memorable buildings in Yekaterinburg. At its festive appearance of the palace, even ahead of the old passenger train station. The palace was built in the early 19th century, and they do not have, and has no equals in the entire Urals. This powerful and impressive building can be described as neo-Gothic, if not richly-gingerbread colors, green-white-red.

Sevastyanov first house was built before 1817, although later, apparently being completed. It is distinguished by a unique item for the city: a semicircular arched rotunda at the corner. At the top of the building was a pediment with tympanum, which, alas, to this day never arrived. In the second half of the 19th century the house passed to the new owner, who decided to remodel it to your liking, put it on a base in classical style abundant Baroque-Gothic ornamentation. The current appearance of the palace is not finished: according to the plan, there should have been more balcony, gazebo and a loggia.

Once again, the building began to remodel in the late 19th century, when it became the property of the city, and moved the district court to the palace. Subsequently, and with the Soviet perestroika and power over the house humiliated in various ways, but in 2008 it was decided to return to it, as far as possible, the original appearance. After restoration and overhaul, he shone the same color scheme and was fenced grid. Today, the palace is one of the cultural monuments of federal significance. In Ekaterinburg it is the residence of the Russian president, so this day, and the interior of the house appropriate; but to see it with my own eyes at the mere mortals will not work.
