Great and many-sided Kamchatka has interesting places which are unusual creations of nature. Acidic Lake is one of such places. They ware formed in the "dead" craters of volcanoes, they keep in their depths many interesting things both for scientists and for ordinary travelers.

Avachinskaya Sopka volcano is well-known all over the world. This active volcano is shaped perfectly smooth cone. Over its pinnacle there are always visible white couples.

Blue lakes are situated at an altitude of 600 metres near the town Yelizovo . This is really a place of unique beauty: clear water and ice covered the bottom of the lake reflect sunlight, staining all around the violet and blue shades.

Commander Islands are proof of the fact that Kamchatka is rich with nature reserves. They are included in the Commander's reserve, abounding with numerous protected species of plants, birds and animals, particularly marine eared seals.

 

Karymsky volcano is the most active among all now existing. Each year numerous tourist groups visit it and it is also interesting to seismologists.

Kamchatka mountain (Klyuchevskaya Sopka) is famous far beyond the borders of this region and the whole Russia. This volcano is the highest point of Zauralsky region: height of Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano is 4 thousand 750 meters.

Kuril Lake is one of the largest salmon-spawning lakes and the most beautiful place on the Kamchatka peninsula, located in a hollow surrounded by hills and harsh volcanoes. Along its shores Kamchatka bears often roam in search of catch. With special towers tourists enjoy watching this fascinating spectacle.

The Valley of geysers is an incredibly exciting beautiful place in Kamchatka. The only field of active geysers and thermal springs on the territory of Eurasia.
