Church on Blood was lit in day of the scheduled anniversary of execution of Romanov – on July 16, 2003. A large number of pilgrims from many cities of Russia were present at this historical moment, further every year, to this sad date began to carry out church service about innocently died and to make religious procession to the Ganina Yama where now there is a monastery.
in 2000, on the project of the famous architects: Mazayev G.V., Morozov V.P. and Morozov V.P. have begun grandiose works on construction of the temple with the official name Church on Blood in Honour of All Saints, in the Russian land of lit up. Construction went in high gear, and in three years it has been complete.
Church on Blood is a majestic structure in the Russian-Byzantine style 60 meters high. The temple is decorated by five gilded domes, crystal bell-ringing of 14 bells sounds on all the district. The biggest and sonorous bell weighing 5 tons – one more surprising sight of a belltower of the temple.
