Svyato-Vvedensky Monastery, founded in 1991 became one of the main attractions of Ivanovo. Monastery was formed around Vvedenskoye temple built in 1907 . The Church was built in 1842 in the tradition of late classicism. In 1893 internal reconstruction was made. The Church was closed in 1935, and there was an archive. After the return of the temple faithful, in 1989 considerable restoration works were held: summer and winter parts of the temple were merged into a single room, new iconostasis was installed, walls were painted.
