  1. Botik of Peter the Great.
    Museum appeared in 1803 under the reign of Vladimir's Governor Ivan Mikhailovich Dolgorukiy. He ordered to build the Botny House. Botik «Fortuna» has been placed on storage there. Botny was opened with a loud House motto: "Diligent Pereslavl To Great Peter». Botik Museum of Peter the Great is one of the oldest Russian museums. It was here, on the Lake Pleshcheevo Peter built the famous comic flotilla. On the territory of the Museum there are the White Palace, the Botny House, the obelisk and monument to Peter the Great, the Rotunda, Triumphal Gates and lodge. All items shown in this Museum are unique.
  2. Goritsky Uspensky monastery.
    The monastery was founded in the first half of the 14th century under the reign of Ivan Kalita. Its famous name he received from a location on a hill — "Goritsa". Nothing survived from the ancient wooden buildings. In 1382 Tokhtamysh's army destroyed both Pereyaslavl-Zalessky and the Goritsky Monastery. Grand Eudokia, wife of Dmitry Donskoy in 1392 restored the monastery, at its own expense. Almost all extant structures belong to the 17-19 centuries. The main temple of the monastery is the Cathedral Uspeniya Bogoroditsy. Its magnificent tiered iconostasis was built in 1750.
  3. Berendey’s House in Pereslavl-Zalessky.
    It is the centre of preservation and development of folk traditions and folk arts and crafts. It is a painted wooden, carved or chiseled figures of humans and animals, which in ancient times were sold at fairs. Modern berendeiki is a revival of traditions of the Russian people, their identity.
  4. Nikitsky monastery.
    Thanks to the exploits of Saint Nikita Stolpnik monastery got its notoriety. Cross of St. Nicholas monastery is now stored in Pereslavskiy Historical Museum.
  6. Spaso-Preobrazhenskiy Cathedral
    Spaso-Preobrazhenskiy Cathedral is the oldest church of Pereslavl-Zalessky and the earliest of survived architectural monuments of Vladimiro-Suzdalskaya School of architecture. It belongs to the first stone structures erected in the middle of the XII century. In ancient times it served as the burial place of its princes. Here are the graves of son of Alexander Nevsky, Grand Prince of Vladimir Dmitry Alexandrovich and a grandson of the great commander, and relative Prince Ivan Dmitrievich.
