Park of the Millennium — park in Vakhitovsky district of Kazan. Also alternative name of park — "Millennium park" meets. The park of the Millennium is located in the center of Kazan, near the northern coast of the lake Nizhny (Near) Boar.
The territory of park is limited to Salimzhanov's streets from the South, Artyom of Aydinov from the East (at Basket-Hall) and Ostrovsky from the North. From the West the park is adjoined by the main building of JSC Tatenergo. On perimeter of park the metal fencing decorated at seven gate with figures of zilant is established. Internal zone of park completely pedestrian. Paths are covered with a stone blocks. The park avenues beginning at gate meet in the center where on the sublime platform the round fountain with a diameter of 36 meters is installed, the main element of which is the bowl in the form of the cauldron supported by zilant. She personifies an ancient legend of emergence of the city of Kazan. Eight zilant are established also on fountain perimeter.
In close proximity at park stops of public transport are located: "Salimzhanov" (trolleybus No. 6) and "Aydinov" (buses No. 1, 2, 31, 37, 47, 74, 74a, 85, 107s, trolleybuses No. 6 and No. 12), and the Tukaya Square metro station is within walking distance located.
