The City History Museum is the keeper of the main treasures of these edges. It is based on the collection, gathered at the beginning of the 20th century by the Caucasian mountain Club: minerals found in the mountains, herbariums, composed of native plants, artifacts of everyday life of the indigenous population of the coast. The collection has grown so that you can get an idea about the history of the Russian South in general.

In the courtyard of the Museum a prehistoric dolmen of Lazarevskoye states, one after another the pages of history open there. There are bronze age tools, arrows and clay plates of ancient people. There is a ship filled with Turkish scimitars and Cossack checkers. There is diorama with bears, mountain goats and black-cocks.
